Tree Farming

| We began as an independentOregon
farm labor crew, and operated as the Cone
Tree Workers Co-op from 1978 to 1982. In 1981,
Mark and his wife Patricia opened their first
Christmas tree lot. In 1983 they founded Santa
& Sons, planted their first trees and
moved the retail tree lot and wholesale yard
to Scottsdale Arizona. Throughout the 1980's,
Mark and his crews worked for dozens of Oregon
Christmas tree farms, seeing a broad range
of conditions and learning how wholesale Christmas
tree farming is best done, and what is best
to avoid. |

That retail experience helped them really
understand what wholesale Christmas tree buyers
need for their Christmas tree lots. In 1992
they moved the retail operations again, finally
arriving in Los Angeles where they continue
to run what Los Angeles Magazine called "one
of the City's best tree lots". |

Los Angeles Wholesale Yard
|
During the Christmas season, the retail tree lot
in Los Angeles serves as our Christmas Tree wholesale
yard for Southern California deliveries. Most tree
lots don't need a semi-truck load delivered at one
time. Smaller deliveries of Christmas trees throughout
the season will assure you receive fresh trees when
you need them.

| Wholesale quantity purchases at
the San Fernando Valley yard are available for selected
items only, and are sold on a spot market basis
when available. Call ahead to check stock in hand.
